No considerable artistic talent is necessary in order to have a table lamp monotonous to the fab at any time. Remove the screen of the lamp, the bulb and the metal parts that will easily detach from the old lamp. Put aside. Cover the wire and metal parts (the switch or brackets that hold the shadow in place) with painter’s tape to protect them. Spray the base of the lamp with a layer of spray paint in your choice of colors. Allow the paint to dry and then spray another layer if necessary for full coverage.

Cut small pieces of decorative fabrics that respond to your blue table lamps as a general approach, cut squares or circles that are approximately 2 to 4 inches on all sides.
